Initial Performance Handicaps for the Coastal Cup and Tollgates Classic Series
Dear Skippers and Race Committee
I am pleased to advise Initial Performance Handicaps for the Coastal Cup and Tollgates Classic Series starting this coming weekend, as below. But first, a couple of points of explanation.
1) The Coastal Cup Handicaps have been brought forward from Coastal Cup Race 5 in 2010-11. However:

CHANGE TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - Coastal Cup 4 and Tollgate Classic 19/3/11
The start time for Coastal Cup 4 scheduled on March 19 has been delayed until 1200 hours.
A briefing will be held at the Annex at 1000 on March 19.
This race has been sponsored by Bengello Property Services and Simon will be providing a BBQ at the end of the race - Simon puts on a great BBQ.

CHANGES TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - Bay Cups 7 and 8
Change to Sailing Instructions Bay Cups 7 & 8 - Division 1
There are two Bay Cup races for Division 1 this Saturday March 5, both of which count towards the series scores. Race 7 also counts in Club Champion.
Given the tides, it has been decided to change the start time for Division 1 to 1200 hrs.
Change to Division 2 start times amended
The starting times for Division 2 have been changed.
The warning signals will now be approximately 30 minutes before the Division 1 signal.
The earlier notice incorrectly stated the start time for ay Cup 3.
The correct approximate times for the Division 2 starts will be

SAILING REPORT - Bay Cup 2
On Saturday the 2nd of October the Batemans Bay sailing club met the starters gun for our Bay cup 2 race under an ominous sky and a nor'easter between 10 - 15 knots. There were 11 boats in Division 1 and 2 boats in Division 2, with Division 2 being won by Evelyn after Vital Spark retired.
CHANGE TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - Division 2
The starting times for Division 2 have been changed.
The warning signals will now be approximately 30 minutes before the Division 1 signal.
