2011 Batemans Bay Regatta

The 2011 Batemans Bay Regatta will be held on April 9th and 10th.  Traditionally the Batemans Bay Regatta is held on the weekend closest to ANZAC Day. However, in 2011 ANZAC Day will be on Easter Monday. Holding the regatta over Easter would clash with NSW Championships in several classes so the regatta will instead be held two weekends earlier. NSW schools break up on April 8th, giving NSW based sailors the opportunity to have an extended family break in Batemans Bay.

Batemans Bay Sailing Club invites all dinghies, multihulls and trailable yachts to participate in our annual 32nd Anzac Regatta April 24 and 25, 2010 a long weekend.

Batemans Bay is a terrific place to sail with a great holiday atmosphere. The Club is going to a huge effort to bring competitors together post race with a BBQ and beverages for sailors to debrief after what is sure to be a couple of great days sailing.

This year following feedback from the larger dinghies longer courses will be laid for selected classes. Join Rob Douglass, Ian McCrossin and many other sailing legends on the water.

A spectator catamaran will follow the fleet on Sunday 25 April from 10.30 -1.30 with morning tea included. Book early on Saturday at the club as numbers are limited. This is a wonderful opportunity to
